Registering for STUNT as a Junior High or High School
If you are ready to register your junior high or high school school program, follow the steps below based on whether you are a Varsity or Club program. There are different options based on your needs. If you are interested in how to start a STUNT program, click here!
Required registration:
If you are a sanctioned athletic program under your athletic department, you are required to register for a STUNT Program Membership. The STUNT Program Membership provides access to all of the routine material (videos, 8-count sheets, music, etc.) , training material, and publications such as the rulebook and other supporting materials.
STUNT Coach Registration:
It is required for all programs to obtain a STUNT Coach Membership for the Primary Contact associated with the account, but not all coaches. You may want to add it for your own professional development and credentialing. All training materials for the game of STUNT are available within the STUNT Program Membership.
There is no need for your athletes to obtain a STUNT Athlete Membership, as they should be covered under your school’s accident and catastrophic insurance policies. Be sure to confirm these coverages with your athletic department.
Required registration:
If you are a school-affiliated club program, you are required to register for a STUNT Program Membership. The STUNT Team Membership provides access to all of the routine material (videos, 8-count sheets, music, etc.) , training material, and publications such as the rulebook and other supporting materials.
STUNT Coach Registration:

You may want to add it for your own professional development and credentialing. All training materials for the game of STUNT are available within the STUNT Program Membership.
If your High School Club program is not covered under your own club insurance or your university’s club insurance, you would also want to obtain the STUNT Coach Membership.
If your club athletes are covered under your own school’s insurance, there may not be a need for your athletes to obtain a STUNT Athlete Membership. If they are not covered, then they may register as a STUNT Athlete Member, which comes with Participant Accident and Catastrophic Insurance coverage. In order to register as an athlete, you must already have a STUNT Team Membership. Be sure to confirm these coverages with your school.
If your club plans to participate in USA Cheer Sanctioned Club Games, all athletes will be required to have a STUNT Athlete Membership in order to be rostered and play in games.
If your club needs additional liability insurance in order to host games or utilize practice facilities, a policy is available for purchase. IMPORTANT! In order to purchase this additional insurance, your team must be registered with a STUNT Team Membership, the coach must have a STUNT Coach Membership, and EVERY athlete must have a STUNT Athlete Membership. A “school” club program may be formed outside of the traditional club structure at a school. In other words, a school coach may choose to form a club program that involves athletes from a single school, or primarily from a single school, outside of the current STUNT season for high school teams. This club would not be an “official” school club. In most cases, they cannot use the school’s facilities unless through a special agreement or contract. In this respect, it is similar to a school basketball coach creating a travel basketball program outside of the regular season and similarly, coaches should be aware of any eligibility rules regarding this situation.
Note: High schools in the state of Oklahoma are considered to be “varsity club” and follow the registration process in the section above this one.
If you are a program in this situation, follow the “Club Registration” process. If you are unsure, contact us for assistance!
